School Song for Week 3 Assembly - Individuality

An Octopus Steals My Video Camera!

Tom brought in for news a newspaper article about Victor Huang who went diving in Wellington and we watched the youtube movie of it. We thought it was pretty awesome - what a cheeky octopus! Here is the movie

Our Personal Portraits in the style of Amedeo Modigliani

We drew pictures of ourselves.  They are based on the European artist Amedeo Modigliani, using pastel and dye.  Amedeo Modigliani was famous for his elongated and elegant portraits, painted in Paris back in the early 1900s. The heads and necks were long and narrow, giving his subjects a very graceful look.
